Our Leadership Team

Tim has been in the benefits industry since 1975 and is Managing Principal of First Hill Trust Company and its operating subsidiaries. From 1986 through 1992, he was president of a state-chartered trust company specializing in trust and custodial services for public and private sector pension programs, where he served as primary fiduciary for clients, representing over $1.2 billion in trust assets. During that time, he also served as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Collective Funds Investment Committee. Tim spent the previous eleven years as President of Benefit Service Corp., an employee benefits consulting firm. Currently, Tim serves as a managing consultant in numerous client assignments involving all aspects of employee benefits management and administration. He is a member of the Western Pension and Benefits Conference, Financial Planning Association, and a graduate of the University of Washington.

Paul brings over two decades of investment and operational leadership to First Hill Trust Company. He assumed the position of President at First Hill Trust Company in 2017. Prior to this role, he served as a Director for AllianceBernstein Investments, a globally recognized research and asset management firm. In addition to his career in the financial sector, Paul has a notable history with the Seattle Seahawks. He served as both a player and a coach for the team from 1983 to 1995. Currently, he fulfills the role of an analyst for the Seahawks' game day radio show. Paul's involvement with the Seahawks has made him a unique figure in franchise history, being the only person to have held roles as a player, coach, and broadcaster. Paul is a proud Arizona State Sun Devil and resides in Bellevue, WA, with his wife and two children.

Brian Mullin serves as the COO of First Hill Trust Company. He assumed this role in January 2022 after a successful tenure as a litigation attorney in Honolulu, Hawaii, at Bays, Lung, Rose and Voss law firm. Specializing in banking, finance, securities, commercial contracts, and real estate law, Brian represented both individual and corporate clients in state and federal courts. Before his legal career, Brian contributed significantly to American Savings Bank, first as an Operations Manager overseeing strategic projects, and later as the Investor Reporting Manager, responsible for comprehensive reporting, risk analysis, and compliance for the bank’s substantial loan portfolio. Brian's academic achievements include a J.D. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, an MBA from Arizona State University, and a B.A. from the University of Arizona.

Andrew Dorado joined First Hill Trust Company in 2021 as the Director of Administrative Services. Andrew has worked in the retirement industry for over 13 years on defined contribution plans, doing everything from compliance testing to plan consulting and design. Andrew graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles with a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation. He also has a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Management from UC Irvine. In his free time, he enjoys gardening and traveling.

Patrick has worked in the investment industry for 19 years and joined First Hill Trust Company in 2016 as Director of Investment Advisory. Previously, Patrick worked as a Senior Trader and Operations Manager at Lake Union Capital Management, he excelled in overseeing up to $2 billion in annual trades and conducting top-down analyses of diverse stock market sectors. He now serves as Director of Investment Advisory at BAC Capital Advisors, managing portfolios and trading for First Hill Trust Collective Investment Trusts, including fiduciary responsibilities. His expertise spans legislation, SEC regulations, and client relations, driving strategic opportunities and revenue enhancement. Patrick received a B.A. from Seattle University and has a Series 65 license. He now lives in Magnolia with family and enjoys coaching his kids' sports teams.
